I am an artist! I have an artist’s soul! Words are my closest friends, and free expression is my tool. Pain and strife is just as valuable as laughter and joy. Each will teach me, instruct me and guide me in my journey towards creation. I have value! I am me, and I will not change who I am. There is nothing wrong with me. I am the way the creator/universe intended for me to be. I will always be fine tuning my existence. To improve the things I choose to improve upon. Not what others decide that I must change.

I have had the greatest pleasure in life to make so many friends and experience the most wonderful relationships! Each has taught me to cherish each person’s Act in your life, and to applaud and cheer them on at the conclusion of their Act. To thank them for being a part of something pure and genuine to hold no grudges and walk them out hand in hand smiling and laughing for their visit. I am thankful to have learned these things. Every once and a while someone’s visit is just that much more spectacular and they become so much more. You experience love. Cherish that love for the time that you have it, and if it decides to leave, thank it for everything it has allowed you to experience, value it, and hold it close to you.

I will never take things for granted. Everything that we have in our lives has value, and needs respect. These are just a few of the eureka moments that I have experienced. I felt like sharing my thoughts. I am very grateful for my friends and family, for my relationships past & new, for the times where I was down and for the times where I was at my best. You have taught me so much, and allowed me to experience LIFE! I can’t wait to see what is in store for me next! Thank you for everything, let’s see where this road takes us!

It’s been a while since I have blogged… I had a great evening again, even though it was based on somber circumstances… Everything I know and love is very much hanging by a thread… Although I keep fighting. I’m not sure what to do at this point… do I keep fighting or concede and lie in wait? I want to wake up and realize that everything is fine, that the stuff that worries me is gone. Crossing my fingers, hoping and praying. What does life have in store for me… will I keep the smile on my face, or see a frown? Stay strong…

So I have realized that I haven’t posted nearly enough on my Tumblr, and I also realized that I had the wrong URL from my blog on my Facebook fan page… yay me… :/ Anyway, I thought I would make a post and satisfy my yearly quota. As far as my life thus far it has been great as usual. I have been doing the school thing and I have been actively a part of the Student Government program at my school. Which by the way I think is an amazing program and that everyone should try to be a part of if they have the chance. It offers great opportunities and new experiences. Also, as some of you know have have been working on my modeling career and recently have decided to pursue acting as well. I have had the opportunity to work with some amazing photographers and I have been auditioning for any and all roles that I can to gain experience with the auditioning process and in hopes of actually being selected. On top of all of that greatness, I have also been dating the most amazing girl in the world, and it has been one hell of a journey thus far and I am looking forward to all the many adventure we will experience together! Well that just about catches all of you up with the latest in the life of John. Thanks for reading, leave some comments if you would like! ^_^

Ugh... 2 Things I Hate About Utah...

So I know I made the decision to move to Utah however, there are 2 things that I severely loath about this state… and I don’t want to hear why don’t you move then or if you don’t like it you can leave… I shouldn’t have to leave the place a live because of it’s politics… however as soon as I am done with school I am leaving due to it’s weather… :p anyway #1 is the overtly conservative nature of this state. This is the one state in the U.S. that forgot about the whole separation of church & state argument. I don’t care what you think, this state is run by conservative members of the LDS faith and they bring their religion to work with them instead of leaving it at the door. They should not be forcing their faith’s doctrine on the citizens of this state. I have nothing wrong with the religion however, what I do have a problem with is creating laws so that the rest of the population is forced to follow your belief system. #2……… wait for it…… THE SNOW!!! It’s so effing cold…!!! Why does it have to snow so damn much during the winter… I’m ok with a little snow, but when I have a 5 foot bank of snow in my yard I have issues… Well that’s my rant for the day. :) Thanks for reading and following my blog. :)

So yesterday was when I had my first paid modeling shoot!! It was for a street soccer clothing line here in Utah. I was very excited and having fun with the shoot. The coolest part was it was about 4 hours of work and I got $100!!! :D I’m very happy about that lol. Now I’m hoping I can just keep on finding paid gigs. As soon as I get some of the photos I will post some so you guys can see them for yourselves. Thanks for reading!
